Blue Moon Top 100 Bands Artists - Full List of Artists (pg 287)

So here is my real vote.
In the real world Morrissey would have been maybe 6th or 7th but The Man needed the points badly!

1. The Smiths
2. Morrissey
3. Siouxsie & The Banshees
4. New Order
5. Echo & The Bunnymen
6. Stone Roses
7. Generation X
8. Buzzcocks
9. The Chameleons
10. Soft Cell
11 T Rex
12. The The
13.Lloyd Cole & The Commotions
14. Bob Dylan
15. Inspiral Carpets

Disappointed! Where’s Johnny ‘F*cking’ Marr? Definitely the better half of the duo that you put at No1.

Me too.

But there would surely only be one winner.

‘Between Nothingness and Eternity’. Wow, that’s deep. It’s now obvious where Thom Yorke got his lyrical and musical inspiration from.

I ended up not submitting a list for this poll. Reasons being that I envisioned the Western artists to be already at the top of most people's choices anyway and no other votes would come in for the other half of my selections. For what it's worth (no Buffalo Springfield didn't make the cut) here's what I would have chosen anyway:

1. David Bowie
2. Prince
3. X Japan
4. Buck-Tick
5. Pink Floyd
6. Neil Young
7. Bruce Springsteen
8. Led Zeppelin
9. Mono
10. Asai Kenichi
11. Tokyo Jihen/Shiina Ringo
12. Luna Sea
13. Hizaki
14. Emmylou Harris
15. Opeth

1. The Smiths
2. James
3. Morrissey
4. The Wedding Present
5. Embrace
6. Echo & the Bunnymen
7. U2
8. Stone Roses
9. The Vaccines
10. Gene
11. Blur
12. The Brilliant Corners
13. The Housemartins
14. New Order
15. The Cure
@redders will now think this is number 2 of my parody accounts.....

Fantastic to see the Brilliant Corners in there (didn't see them when scanning the results) and criminal I missed them off
