Bluemoon's Most Disliked Sport? (The Results Are In p35)

Re: Bluemoon's Most Disliked Sport? (Cricket Vs. Skiing p24)

Cross country skiing

It's the same as marathon running, Tour de France, triathlon, long distance swimming
You have to admire the sportsman for being so fit, but it's so fecking dull to watch

Cricket. A shite sport that hasnt moved on. A snob sport for snobs.

I reckon cricket transcends class barriers more than any other sport.

I was thinking that, especially these days

Anyway Skiing is my vote

Cross Country skiing

Though I appreciate the stamina and it's way better than long distance running it loses out to cricket, a game of strategy, skill, technique, guile and brutality. Giant slalom's a bit dull too, but downhill, slalom & biathlon (skiing/shooting) are great sports, king of sports biathlon, if you miss the targets you have to go round a 200m loop and can easily go from leading to losing by a good way on the last lap, makes it way more interesting.

Cricket....

Dislike the longetivity about the sport, such as 5 day series, and you could travel 10000miles to watch a game and if there is a drop of rain it gets cancelled...
