Well for start it's in English.

if it was posted in Chinese and Spanish then i'd understand.

They made a cockup, but how many things do they get right on the website? %99 of it is superb content.
We'll probably have to pay for this kind of site in a few years.

It just isnt in any way witty or funny, its obvious it was meant to be toungue in cheek and if one of the blogs had done it then i'd probably understand but for the O.S its just embarrassing.
