newenglandblue and Brisblu will playoff between now and the Players Championship. You two need to agree on a week in which you want to playoff. The options are:

Week 1-This week-Open de Espana(Casey for NEB, Lowry for BB) and RBC Heritage(Donald for BB).
Week 2-Zurich Classic(Keegan Bradley plays for NEB, Fowler for BB) & Ballantine's Championship(Bjorn & Casey for NEB, Kjeldsen for BB).
Week 3-Wells Fargo Championship(Quail Hollow, McIlroy plays for NEB) & Volvo China Open(Bjorn plays for NEB, Kjeldsen for BB).

The alternative is that I take the cumulative score for those 3 weeks for both of you and declare the winner after that.

Let me know your preference.

Really appreciate this and would like to make it easy and as fair as possible for you and as sporting as is can be for New England Blue.

Unfortunately for me my computer crashed and burned last Thursday evening which put paid emails and Bluemoon... and week one of the Scoop6 competition.
Hence now being the first chance to reply.

I would be happy for the cumulative score for those three weeks if that is ok for both yourself and NEB.

Hehe. Keep the faith.... I am

Re: Bluemoon Golf Competition 2013

Gonna try to get to El Saler this week to watch Casey. Still think he's the most talented out of the current crop of Englishmen but needs a bit of luck to get himself back to his best. He's out just before Garcia too, so will be a top day!

Re: Bluemoon Golf Competition 2013

An interesting week last week with Billy Horschel finally getting the reward for months of good finishes with a well-deserved win at the Zurich Classic, whilst Brett Rumford surprised everyone to win the Ballantine's Championship. A difficult week for most teams, not many points gained at all so here's the table:

1) PhuketBlue 6455
2) Matthew Cojeen 5940
3) The cookie monster 5790
4) TaxiforCreaney 5460

The current aggregate score for the BM Golf Cup First Round Replay between Brisblu and newenglandblue with this being the final week is:

Brisblu 205-(-15) newenglandblue.

NEB has a lot of work to do this weekend.

Apologies for the later and less detailed than usual updates but it is a busy time for me so this gets done when I have a few minutes spare. Nonetheless the golf season moves on relentlessly as we are currently at one of the best tournaments of the year which is the Wells Fargo @ Quail Hollow, big week with a very strong field. In Europe they're in Asia again in China for the Volvo China Open, however we're hitting the peak part of the regular season soon with Spring giving way to Summer. Next week we go to one of my favourite courses in the TPC Sawgrass for The Players Championship, whilst the European Tour has a week off before heading to Bulgaria for the Volvo World Matchplay. The following week is the pinnacle of the European Tour season as the entire European Ryder Cup team from last autumn heads to Wentworth for the BMW PGA Championship. The PGA Tour has strong events each week including the Memorial @ Muirfield Village where Tiger defends his crown at the end of May and before you know it we'll be at the US Open, fun times.

The categories for this week are:

PGA Tour-Wells Fargo Championship @ Quail Hollow-Category C.
European Tour-Volvo China Open-Category D.

Enjoy!

Re: Bluemoon Golf Competition 2013

Wanted to get this bumped back up...been a while since we saw an update and we have a huge tournament this week in the Memorial and the US Open only a few weeks out. JMW, keep up the good work! We know you are busy and know that updating all these scores can't be easy, thanks for all the hard work.
