Bobb injured in training | Fractured leg confirmed (p 5)

Devastating timing. He was nailed on to start and I had predicted star at stamford bridge.

This could be season defining for him, not in terms of the injury, we will wait for news on that but all the work he's done pre-season to rise up the pecking order above both grealish and doku is now going to be reset once he does return and you would expect them to be in the rhythm as well as savinho somewhat settled and he'll have to bide his time and start again when he gets a chance.

Gutted for the lad, however if we're going to get an injury, wing is probably the area you'd pick to get one. We're stacked in that area, probably means an early chance for savinho to impress and hit the ground running.

maybe in english, don’t know. where i live a broken bone and a bone fracture are absolutely the same thing. i even checked with a doctor family member now coz i was curious.
It’s odd a fracture can mean a break, but it can also just mean a crack.Maybe medically there is no such thing as a ‘broken leg’ just different degrees of fractures.

Desperately sad for Bobb as this could’ve been his real breakthrough season. Hope he makes a speedy recovery.

There are literally three bones in the leg. That is if you are going to exclude the ankle/foot and the patella, which are usually not described as "leg fractures", but more specifically to those locations. Sounds like a fibula fracture, which is not much of a weight bearing bone. Still needs time to heal, though, and will depend on whether or not it needs surgery, which will depend on the amount of displacement and location of the fracture.
