BOGOF

Just go online chose two seats delete the one with a charge against it,thus leaving your free one, click checkout, there's your free ticket, posted to you as we'll,providing you've already bought one.im in cup scheme, did this yesterday,so I know it works, easy .

Spent 50minutes on hold to the number the website tells you to ring, only to be told its the wrong number and transferred onto hold again.

Can't believe the bulldog tripe on here from people moaning about the offer and how unfair it is. You get a free ticket if you've already got one (if you'd wanted 2 and was able, you'd have bought 2 at the same time). Now you can get an extra one for nowt and buy one, get one free. What is there to moan about...?FFS...!

Maybe people want 2 tickets and not 4

I think I agree about dropping the cup schemes. There is no incentive to remain loyal as there is no reduction, tickets are always available and there have been a few occasions lik this where ticket prices were dropped for new Buyers

I've been on hold on for 30minutes waiting to get free tickets because I already bought two on the cup scheme. Sigh, I just hope after all this they don't try and add on a booking fee

100 extra loyalty points per cup scheme for Gold members and 200 extra per scheme for Platinum. Also, first dibs ahead of non cup scheme members for away games in each cup competition that you're signed up to. So there are incentives but it's up to the individual to decide whether they're enough to warrant joining the cup schemes. I suspect that if, by some miracle, we got to the Champions League final then you'd see a huge benefit to being on the cup scheme versus not being on it.

I think I'd rather just pay for the games as I go from now on because having it taken weeks and weeks before the match doesn't benefit me, loyalty points aren't that important to me as I can still get them for the individual matches I attend and don't need 100 on top. It will save me 40 minutes faffing about on hold and the cost of the call when they suddenly decide to do an offer. Also my ticket costs the same as regular buyers so with plenty of tickets always available I may as well buy as I go. Plus I can buy anywhere in the ground without the faff of relocating.

Cup scheme was good when it started but doesn't benefit me personally anymore so next season I wont bother.

Agreed. Priority for away domestic cup matches and just waiting for a CL Final to go to is why we join.

Hopefully you are right on both accounts!

The CL isn't like the domestic cups in that the ticket allocation is much smaller.
Last season the two Madrid clubs received 16,970 tickets. That figure included tickets for the club's sponsors and corporate sales etc.
Atletico put 14,000 on sale to club members with Real selling 13,134 that way. The stadium in Berlin is slightly larger than the one
in Lisbon so maybe we'd get 20,000 tickets. I'd imagine the demand from our sponsors would be huge given that it would be our
first final. Corporate sales would similarly be enormous. We would probably see 15,000(?) left for general sale. I don't know how
many are in the cup scheme but hopefully that would suffice. I do concede that if you're not on the scheme you would be very
lucky to get a ticket for the final off the club. I don't think however that justifies the BOGOF offer. The chances of us reaching the
final this season are slight given the start we've made, squad restrictions, etc, etc. That's essentially why ticket sales have been so
slow for the CSKA match. When you join the cup scheme you commit to going regardless of prior results or chances of qualifying.
The club does not commit to being able to sell you a ticket for the final if we get there merely that you have priority.
