I think that’s the way we should always look at this sort of thing, because it hits home much harder than pretence of people having some sort of peaceful resting place after life. It brings forth the enormity of the situation with much more reality and seriousness.

There’s only life. Life is the only thing, it is everything. Once life is taken away there’s nothing. And that’s what cunts like these shooters have taken.

That's fine and I actually fully agree but... lots of those people affected today do and will continue to believe in the after life mate.

Its got hell of a lot worse i would say during Covid :( just a sick old world out there now.
 
A rabbi from north London was amongst the victims. Coincidentally his great uncle was the former rabbi of Heaton Park synagogue where the Manchester attack took place.

I don't know what honours system they have but he deserves our equivalent a knighthood. I also hope Israel honour him. He saved many lives and nearly paid with his own.

I have a Jewish friend in Australia, and she has been telling me for some time that antisemitic shit has gone off the scale in recent months. She was been told to to 'f*** off to Israel', among other things.

But nothing prepares us for an outrage like this. The Manchester attack was bad enough, this is far worse. Sickening.

Not just that though. It also causes a proliferation of copycats looking for their 15 minutes.

Islam really needs to get a grip of extremist beliefs amongst its followers, because every time this sort of thing happens, it turns out these people regularly attended a supposedly normal, mainstream mosque. You have to wonder the extent to which these sort of extremist views are either not spotted, tacitly accepted, or actively encouraged.
 
It's a horrible thing to happen. And as always, it's the innocents that suffer for the actions of others.

There needs to be an acceptance in the Jewish community that the actions of Israel, rightly or wrongly, is affecting the safety of their community. We want anti-semitism to stop, we definitely want these sort of attacks to stop.

There needs to be an acceptance in the pro-Palestine community that these sort of attacks are not helping their cause. It's making things worse for the innocents. It's a road to nowhere.

It's incredibly sad that this is happening, and even sadder that what needs to happen to make it stop doesn't look like it is any closer to happening.

People are scared to say it, but Islamic extremism is out of control and is one of the main reasons for a lot of these terrorist attacks. It’s getting worse every year.

Governments and the Muslim communities need to start dealing with it. I’d say the same if it was other religions/ communities as well.

Do you really think that would make any difference?

These attacks are carried out by people who hate Jewish people with every bone in their body.

What the government of Isreal do has zero baring on how much certain groups hate Jews. They shouldn’t have to apologise for anything either

Extremism in general is out of control. You can guarantee that this attack will become the justification for an attack on a mosque in the near future, as well as inspiration for further Islamist attacks. You can also guarantee any Muslim saying what you've just said and leading efforts to reform the religion will be subjected to death threats or worse from these same people.
