Bonfire Night

Not bad here tbh, all stopped by 8 Friday and Saturday where i am. Their is an estate where it was going off at a few houses until late with air bombs about a mile away but nothing to bad.

Air bombs though, whats the point, most of them don't even have much of a light show if any, just big effing bangs that set off every dog in a 3 mile radius.

As a 38yo i say ban the buggers, 15yo me say's make them cheaper!
48yo dog-owning me says string the selfish cunts up by their extremities and shove a huge rocket and an air bomb up their fucking arse.

Dead right Alf. I am fortunate in that my boy trusts me implicitily to the point he looks to me when he is unsure what to do, get angry, get worried etc. I just give him the "don't worry lad" and play it off as nothing to which he will just lie back down. Those big buggers that shake your window frames though make him get worried/angry and he has a threatening bark at them.

My lady friend/fwb who lives 2 doors down has a 14yo German Shepherd who is not great with where he poops at the best of times these days. The fireworks totally put him off his business on his short walks so he ends up using the kitchen floor if she is lucky, the carpeted front room if she is not.

I feel really bad for dogs around bonfire night, i wish i could explain to them what it is instead of them having to be worried about this scary thing they can't control, poor buggers.
