I'm not sure the owner, the manager or the players will be inspired by the fans booing. I'd imagine 50,000 Blues belting out Bluemoon would be more of a spur to the players.

I for one will continue to boo with passion and vigor. It's not an anthem by the way, it's a jingle.

I would hope the recent scare with Pep should make the booers think a little more. Its getting down to the wire now in achieving our owners ultimate dream of being kings of Europe, especially with Real Madrid and PSG out of the picture. Absolutely no need to add some negativity to our champs league games. Pep and the lads need every bit of encouragement. Why not sing Bluemoon over the anthem as a way of a protest ? It's the most sensible solution surely ?

oh I think we'll be ok for two very good reasons.

1, it was made up bollocks.

2, Pep is fantastic but we are Manchester city fans, we and the club will be around for many many more years, with or without Pep.
