Then you are enabling the ****.I always call Boris Johnson ‘Boris’ and still think he’s a ****.
It’s just easier and clearer than saying his whole name or Johnson which is very common.

Yep. It's the "**** effect".
Becker?Boris is Boris and the word ‘Boris’ is a brand. It’s brand Boris and that isn’t going to change. When anyone says the five letter word ‘Boris’ then everyone knows it’s Boris and nobody else. The Boris brand is so powerful that if anyone calls him ‘Johnson’ then it is seen as a derogatory.
Like it or not there is only one ‘Boris’.
I know a couple of people who worked for / with him when he was the Mayor. They said he was always the smartest guy in the room. As sharp as a tack. Also very charismatic (apparently it was the same when he was at Eaton). However he was bone idle. Great at painting the big picture, but useless on detail and didn’t know the meaning of hard work. That was something for his minions to do for him. He also cultivated his disheveled, bumbling, comical persona to disarm people. He believes he was born to rule and played his cards perfectly with Brexit to get to the top of the Tory party. A large part of the general public fell for it and he only had Corbyn to beat. The right place at the right time…I am still mystified as to how he got near to power in the first place

And there we have clear evidence of the total indoctrination and radicalisation of one of our most insightful (lol) and educated(more lol) contributors!!Boris is Boris and the word ‘Boris’ is a brand.
