Boro Post Match thread

He changes the team every fucking game how can we get any sort of rhythm with over 100 changes this season .We have nothing else to play for , play your strongest team get it won then rest players, 3 games in a week boo fucking hoo .

I usually avoid being controversial, but there are some short memories on here. At the end of last season a majority were happy to see the back of pellers, today, I have read that " we have gone backwards since Pellegrini" you really couldn't make it up. I was and still am happy we have Pep, give the bloke time to sort out what in my opinion was a shambolic situation in terms of defensive players, and, transfer policy, that is assuming we have one. We must give Pep a transfer window/close season before we can really judge the overhaul situation :-)

Fair do's Peggy although I suspect Pep has had more than a passing interest in our transfer activity since July 2015...a lot has been spent since then and it has not improved us one jot so far....let's hope things improve this summer!

I think Palace and even more so Leicester could be a complete nightmare for us because they will do what Boro did only they can potentially do it much much better. Anyone looking at our run in and thinking that top four is going to be a piece of piss needs to think again. We are barely going to play anyone from here on in who will do anything other than park the bus and try to hit us on the break. Every match is a potential grind if we don't take early chances.

I haven't assumed ANY game will be
completely agree, its embarrassing some of the shit posted on here, especially if we aren't winning. people can't handle defeat/ losing anymore. the pep haters answer to everything seems to be ' well hes the best manager in the world' ....... as if he/we have some devine right to win every game and batter everyone.

My take on what you say is that it is worse for people who handle sub-standard performances like today well. A season of mediocrity should not be tolerated at a club aiming to dominate across Europe. Over reaction is better than no reaction in my book. As a club, you set your standards to be the highest they can be. Ok you might not always reach them but accepting less is preparing for failure. 3 years ago we were THE team to beat in the PL. Now we see Chelsea and Spurs disappearing over the horizon and we're in a period of sustained transition. We don't have a divine right to win every game but we also have no obligation to accept being happy at gaining a point at home and away to Middlesboro who most likely will be in the Championship next season. They are relegation fodder - nothing more.

How is making a comparison to last season having a short memory? Surely having a short memory would be saying this season is incredible forgetting that we finished 4th with relative ease in comparison last year.
