Borussia Dortmund (A) - CL QF | Post-Match Thread

We’re quality, we’re battling and scrapping and we’re getting a bit of deserved rub of the green, this combo takes you a long way!
The only bit of the rub of the green we might get this season in the CL was last night's pen - although why VAR took as long as they did is quite 'mysterious'! People trying to tell us that Can headed the ball onto his arm. Bollocks! He stuck his arm out as 'insurance' in case his head didn't get enough purchase on the ball!

nice win but nothing will redress the disgraceful line up last week end . even Pep knows he went too far . pick a team to win, not all first 11 but enough to bag the points then make changes .

That team was enough to win, imho. More than enough. Wasn't for the lack of trying.

This.

Already sick of hearing it was a controversial penalty like thats the only reason we went through. It was a blatant penalty and Can knew it and everyone on the pitch and watching on TV knew it straight away.

Just heard Hamann on Talkspurs saying it was a "scandalous decision" and we were lucky to go through! Ignoring the fact there was a clear movement of the arm towards the ball after he headed it. It was a pen in any era of football.

Not as much fuss made of the one by Spurs a few years back was there? Glad to see Pep brought it up though in his post match interview.

It was a pen but in the past decisions like that haven’t gone for us. Also Bellinghams goal could easiky have stood in the first leg, so i would say we are getting long overdue slight rub of the green after getting nothing really previously kn this competiton.

Fcking Mercenaries...

The fact that both commentators instant reaction to Foden's goal was that the keeper should have saved it says a lot about where their alliegances lay. I said the same for their goal re Ederson.

Foden's would have beaten most keepers due to the power and precision of the shot.
First thing out of my mouth to my lads after the replay was “keeper should have saved it” and I promise you I’m a blue.
