we fucking suck. Spare me the 'it's only pre-season' retort. The season starts in 10 days, we're all over the place defensively and create fuck all I can count the number of corners this entire pre-season on one hand. We've also got 3 maybe 4 players who everyone thinks will start at WHL that have trained a few times so far and might not even be ready. Every team this entire pre-season aside from 1 half against a Club America side have been far superior to us.

Last year:

Orlando Pirates 2 - 0 City
Kaiser Chiefs 1 - 0 City
Rangers 3 - 2 City
Barnsley 1 - 1 City


We then won 7 straight games. And 9 from the first 10

Is it just me, or does there appear to be no camaraderie or togetherness within the squad? Out on the pitch there is no communication whatsoever. They all just seem to blank each other and do their own thing. They need to speak more and organise each other.

The paranoia is in overdrive tonight I see. Why do you care about the rags result?
On Sunday morning I woke up and looked on Sky text, and guess what.... no mention about us on the sport headlines, but there was the headline 'united end america tour on a loss'. Does that mean that the media are now against them? No, it doesn't. The media are NOT against us, people just like to think they are. Its embarassing all this, 'ffs City, sort it out or the press will have a field day', and your your post. If people really care that much about what the media think they have nothing else in their lives worth worrying about.

Problem isn't so much the results but the lack of cohesion and link play. There were some signs of it early on, especially between Yaya and the frontmen but it all fell apart again. We should be better when we get some more drive (Tevez, De Jong) and creativity (Silva) one hopes. And Boateng will hopefully settle fast as our defence makes me nervous, may even have to play him as a CB if we can't find a settled pairing of Toure/Kompany/Lescott again but once more that would make us vulnerable at right-back where I was thinking Boateng may play.
