Harsh on Stones to be benched for the Champs League. Ever since Laporte made those comments in the press Pep has been rotating the defence to try and keep him happy and I'm not a fan of it. Laporte could have played against West Ham but Stones deserved to start tonight.

I watched the Gundogan interview on CityTV, and he mentions that they all know what needs to be done, so it looks like they know they it’s difficult to play every game and remain as hard to beat as we are at the moment. Looks like there’s a togetherness and they realise a game every 3 days is sapping, even to the fittest of athletes. Rotation is the only way, we can manage fatigue and tiny injuries.
