Taking it one game at a time
27 years ago yesterday Bowie played at Maine Road as part of the Sound and Vision tour, with support from James. I was a bit too young to go at the time (and think we were on holiday), but it looks like a great setlist. Any on here go?

Think I saw that tour at the NEC.

I do know Danny Betesh though.

Saw him in Tin Machine at the International. Unbelievable to be so close. I saw the lets dance tour 83 at the NEC then at MEN about 2000.

I didn't do that one but did the Glass Spider gig three years earlier.
Dropped Mrs sf off at Withington hospital so she could give birth to little sf and I went to the gig.
Seemed a waste to let two tickets go so rang up a mate and took him.

Got a few sour looks from the midwives when I returned after the gig!
This was mentioned at his daughters wedding speech!

I went, was 10 considering the date on the ticket, also a perk of my mum working for city and getting in free (:

I was sure it was the spider tour? He came down on a revolving chair if memory serves!

Edit: just saw the rest of the thread, didn’t realise he’d played twice!
