There is no way that he would get anywhere near Real Madrid's first team. To be honest, he would even struggle to get into their B team, Castilla, who play in Segunda B (the third tier). They (Castilla, that is) played my local team (Unionistas de Salamanca) a couple of months ago, and they stuffed us. Just 3-0, but it could/should have been 10. Mind you, Vinicius Junior was playing for Castilla that day. Castilla have some really talented young players, and Brahim would be just one more.
I highly doubt that

Very dissapointing news that it looks like were going to lose him.
Losing Sancho who is a real talent is not great but I get the reasons behind that move.
It's looking in the grand scheme of things that academy talent is in reality only going to produce a limited number of players who become seasoned first teamers.
Players who can't break in are going to get tempted away and theirs nothing we can do about it.
If Sterling was 33 and Sané was 32 I’d agree that Sancho and Diaz are huge losses for the club.

But they’re both a full decade younger than that and one has just signed a new long term deal and the other is in talks for one.

Academy talent is barely featuring at any club in the top half of the Prem, not just at City.

We have Foden
Liverpool have Terence Trent D’Arby
Spurs have Kane and Winks
Arsenal have Iwobi
Chelsea have nobody I can think of
Bournemouth have nobody I can think of
Everton have Davies and Calbert-Llewin
United have nobody I can think of
Watford have nobody I can think of
Leicester have nobody I can think of

That’s seven players I know the names of in the top half of the Prem, any others are insignificant as they just barely play for me to be able to remember them

There is little chance of him playing big mins for Real first team despite the level they suck now. Maybe he wants to go back to Spain but no way it's for playing time if he signs for real.

Bournemouth - Cook?
Utd - Rashford, Lingard, McTominey
Leicester - Chilwell

But your point still stands.

Young players, and more specifically their agents, want it now. It is hard to think of where your career will be in 12 years time when you are just 18 and it will be difficult to convince some of the world's top young players otherwise, especially if they have no emotional links to the club.
Brahim's agent is Pep's brother. I don't think he is pushing Brahim away to get money or anything like that. He just wants to leave.

Just because they leave City doesn't mean its for money or anything like that. Getting next to no game time is hardly ideal for a player who is 19 years old already.

Sancho for example made correct decision. Whether Brahim has, time will tell.

Nobody yet knows whether Sancho made the correct decision. Yes, he is beginning to get game time but in terms of his development, we will only really know in five years, comparing him to Foden at 23.

I agree regarding Diaz and I have not mentioned money. I suspect his lack of game time is as a direct result of a contract dispute; this seemed to exacerbate Sancho's lack of minutes too. I hope it works out for him and he is one of the biggest talents we have had. Time will tell with both of them whether it was the right call.

With due respect, I disagree.

Pep is extremely reluctant to start younger players ahead of experienced veterans; unless some youngster has Messi-esque talent.

As I've mentioned in numerous threads, I thought that we should have loaned out Foden - especially since he's a great talent - and - a bit less so - Diaz - as he's very talented but not a lock to make our squad.

Off topic a bit... regarding Sancho...

If, under Pep, we will neither start promising youngsters in our squad, nor loan them out, what is someone with Sancho's talent supposed to do?
