I had no idea.

Always worth a read. This is what I read on Bluemoon on 20th November:

"It’s very unfortunate for Manchester City to lose Brahim Diaz butwhen you have a team of absolute top notchers it becomes very difficult to break into the senior squad and get game time! If he goes he will miss Pep and all the other coaches but wish him well!!!"

One day we will regret not keeping him....12 starts would possible keep his attention, after all, we're going to play 60+ games this season

I rate him higher than Foden. Problem for Diaz is that there isn't enough room for both of them.
Foden's advantage being he is a local lad with all his roots in the City, so politically, it suits to promote him.
Big shame. Another Isco for Madrid.

I don’t think it’s us not keeping him, more like he wants to leave. Who would make way so we can play the youth players? We have a first class squad, so it will always be harder to break into the team. That’s just a fact of how good our players are.

All about opinions but I would personally take foden over Diaz anyway

PEP: The academy has to be so proud. It is working really well. With @Brahim it is simple: we want to extend his contract for four or five years and we will do everything. But it’s up to him
