I wouldn't even think it's a point of being annoyed at not getting a better chance etc that would lead him to leave, more just that it's Madrid that are looking him.

I really don`t know what the fuss is all about. The lad is decent but not a world beater. Madrid would just send him out on loan to play for san somebody or other fc and he`ll just be a tiny part of our history.

I don't see him being that special as well. Think the current situation is mostly about money - both City and Madrid want to loan him out, develop and eventually sell for a good price. He's a huge asset worth at least 10m euros and will only improve with more game time.

If Sancho can now be fairly regular for Dortmund, I don’t see how he could not have played games last season for us against weaker teams, and the same goes for Foden and Diaz now.

We’ll just end up buying an equivalent for 50m+ in the future!

Foden has to start tomorrow IMO.

With the injuries not 100% complete it's an ideal time to play Phil & get Diaz on the pitch at sometime in the 2nd half.

These 2 are City's best options in our youth set up get them in while we have injury.

Look at the 3 CM out of the starting 11 if Phil doesn't start tomorrow when will he??

The above poster clearly knows that, and I imagine is saying that if Foden can't get a game when there are 3 injuries to the players in his position, then he is clearly not being truthful when he says a) he's ready to start or b) he's a first team player.

The club have been trying to get him to sign a new contract since the beginning of the summer, if Pere and Pep haven't convinced him in the last 6 months, I doubt they'll do it in the next 4 weeks.
