We haven't lost a midweek Premier league game since may 2010 when crouch scored for spurs when we were both going for the champions league, over 10 years ago , amazing if true:)
We’ve lost 7 midweek away games since then. That’s if they only count Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday as midweek as we’ve also lost Monday night and Friday night games.

Its almost like its a useless stat.
Yeah, normally in the guise of fucking Wigan.Amazing run of form, but I’m with Pep on this - doesn’t count for anything until you have the trophies in your hands.
So one game at a time.
A few years ago a team (I think it was Chelsea) was in the same position we are now (ok not so much of a gap at the top of the league) too, league cup final, FA cup and Champions league. The press started talking about them winning everything and continued it for two months - then I’ve rather course of two weeks it all fell apart. I can’t really see that happening to this side but still, one game at a time.
Fate has a way of taking things away from you - I think we all know that even if city did the impossible and won everything the BBC team of the year would be the NHS (after a suspicious online campaign coordinated by people with IP addresses mainly in the range of 192.168.scouse.1)

We have now played 41 games in all competitions and if we get to the CL and FA Cup Finals we will play another 21.
So two thirds of the way there and currently with an almost fully fit squad with Ake on his way back.
Cup competions are always a lottery with bad decisions and the opposition playing out off their skins for the one game. However we have a great chance of picking up a fair chunk of silverware this season, just take one game at a time as Pep has drummed into the players.

If we can manage to win the next 5 League games, we will not only have the longest league run record, but also be the first team to consecutively beat every single other team in the league. What a feat that would be!
