The only way to determine a top flight all time record is to figure out the points per game attained and then multiply by 38 to get City's target.

The record is Preston in 1889 with 100.18 so we need to win the last 4 though Im sure 100 points would count too ;-)

I know Pep thinks any record would be broken one day but I really think 100 points would never be broken.

Absolutely crazy - City are so close to breaking so many all time top-flight records it's untrue. So Pep isn't the best? Give over.

Yeah let’s celebrate getting to mid table. He’s done really well but hardly manager of the year. Why not Houghton he’s kept Brighton up? The fact is if you finish 4th bottom you’ve had a good season. The point is only 1 guy wins the league and more than that has owned the league. I’ll be disgusted if Pep doesn’t get it.

Best joke I’ve heard in ages. It’s such a plucky loser argument. Give me the same advantages as someone else who is successful and I’ll match him. But to sustain it takes a bit of doing. Love to see Mourinho at Burnley he’d get them relegated. They gave plucky moyes the United job with all the resources he could have and he cocked up!

Surprising to hear that from Kamara. He’s normally very fair on Goals On Sunday and the impartiality of that show is why I prefer it to the likes of MOTD and the shite that often gets spouted on Soccer Saturday. It could be that he only said it because they’ve got 2 Burnley players on GOS today. It’s a silly argument - as good as our squad is, I very much doubt any other manager would have us this far clear. Mancini and Pellegrini could’ve won the league with these players but not by such a sizeable margin IMO. Hughes wouldn’t have been able to win it full stop!

If we do manage to get 100 points, this team will be remembered forever. When people talk about the best sides in English football, they will talk about City's 'Centurions' alongside Arsenal's 'Invincibles'.

Centurions is better than 'Invincibles' with 90 points IMO.
