.... 108 also in Keegan's title winning season (would've been 109 if it hadn't been for that penalty!).We are 6 goals away from breaking City's all time top-flight season record of 107 set in 1936-37
Edit:
(Note: City's all time season record is 108 in 1926-27 in Division 2)
The Portsmouth game ended late! It was deeply suspicious and the City fans, management and players were on the pitch celebrating promotion when the news came through that Portsmouth had scored the goal they needed to go up instead! It was a definite fix!We won 8-0 at home to Bradford City on the final day, if we'd won 9-0 and been promoted ahead of Portsmouth there might have been a whiff of corruption in the air! ;-)

City were 3rd best supported club that season (as a 2nd Div club!) behind NUFC and EFC (only about 600 fans behind EFC too!). In 1927-28 City were the best supported team with an average of 37,468 to First Division Everton's 37,461!
Can someone help me out here, I thought Kev would have got an assist for the second goal but according to Premier Leagues OS he's still on 15? There might have been a chance for him to equal the record of 20 if he only needed 4 in 3 games, but 5 in the 3 looks just beyond him
Another good statI feel a stirring in my loins when you give good stats.
