I'm sorry, but whenever I hear the term, "calendar year", I instantly think of Wilfred "fucking" Bony.

I keep a list of City records and I don’t count any calendar year ones as part of it.

There was one shown on match of the day last night but I cant remember exactly.
Basically players who have won a 100 games in the quickest time. Bernardo was top followed by about 4 other City players.

Apparently, we've now equalled the top flight record for away wins in a calendar year (17). Trips to Newcastle and Brentford left this month to try to break the record. I make it 20 away PL games so far this year. Losses at Brighton (last season) and Spurs and a draw at Anfield the only blots in the copybook. Maybe @Gary James can confirm this, or shoot it down in flames)?

All these records are worthless though, I keep being told football isn't a patch on the 90's & early to mid 2000's.

Can't imagine why.

Perhaps but it isn’t a patch on United. Before they were robbed in a recent away game I believe the last time they lost away was when Julius Caesar was over here on an elongated sight seeing trip. And also, that unbeaten record was with 11 homegrown players every match

Not only home grown, but born and bred Mancunians, including the manager!

True.. especially 'boyhood Red' Julius Caesar realising his 'dream' to play for them.. but let's not forget they had the good fortune of playing ties over two legs and they often only got the wins as, in those days, 'away Gauls counted double'..
