Breaking records/stats thread

Irrespective of the result today, this season is the seventh consecutive season that we've won silverware. Has that ever been equalled in the top flight. The rags in the 90s? Or the cultists back in the late 70s/early 80s?

You hear it repeated in the media about Klopps 7 major trophies. So it includes the super cup and the club World Cup. Ok, on that basis Pep achieved another treble this season. So whilst the media went with the narrative of a possible double double for City we have Infact won a double treble. Well done Pep and the lads, 6 Cups in 2 seasons an outstanding achievement.

Hopefully not a jinx this post.

Couple of City stats to look out for in the next few weeks/months.

Most consecutive PL wins in a row:
Current: 12
Record: City & Liverpool - 20

Longest unbeaten PL run:
Current: 26
Club Record: 30 - April 2017 - January 2018
PL Record: 49 - Arsenal May 2003 - October 2004

Those 12 consecutive PL wins have all been won with a margin of at least 2 goals. That is an all-time English top-flight record going back to 1888. Previous best was 8 wins.

30 PL wins on the run. Pointed out on MOTD.

That'll be home games unbeaten.

I posted this on the previous page (stats updated following Brentford):

Most consecutive PL wins in a row:
Current: 13
Record: City & Liverpool - 20

Longest unbeaten PL run:
Current: 27
Club Record: 30 - April 2017 - January 2018
PL Record: 49 - Arsenal May 2003 - October 2004

Easy to forgot how effective we've been.
