And some people need to face facts, He is clearly not good enough at this level. £1.5m is a very good offer for a player who will go no further than our reserves and when his contract ends leave for nothing. Why are some people so precious over our players, he is not and never will be anything other than a workaholic championship striker with no end product. Of course this is all IMO

Yeh I agree I dont think he'll ever be better than a Championship or low Prem team player but theres still no need for all the dickish remarks. Its not like hes ever done anything to offend the club, he always tries his best.
 
I dont understand all the 'dont sell him, loan him out for a season' posts. Do you honestly think after a season at a Championship club we are going to get a player coming back to us who is going to set the Premier League on fire?

Nobody is the finished product at Cheds age but they certainly show traits of what is needed at the top level, the only thing Ched has shown is that he can run round like a headless chicken! Not good enough simple as that and no amount of loan time at another club is going to change that!

Take the £1.5 million and run!

I think were singing from the same sheet here Ninja, just what I think, might aswell take the cash offered now.
 
I was lucky enough to go to Schalke and Hamburg last season, if i remember it wouldnt have happened unless Ched hadnt been involved in that very early stage of europe, opinions are 1 thing but slagging off city players is another, especially the young. Good luck Ched in your career whether at city or elsewhere

I agree, we have to thank him for some excellent penalties. Look, I wish the lad no ill will whatsoever, its just he isn't good enough and isn't likely to get a level where he will be. Refusing this bid will only be holding the lad himself back, rotting in our reserves is no good for him or us.
 
Point well made Matt.... tongue in cheek.... how much is tevez that great penalty taker. We are a club moving forward so i agree to let Ched further his career would be right to let go
