BREAKING-Sheffield-United-bid-1.5m ched

He's not a bad player at all, just got thrown in rather at the deep end last season - being asked to play up front on his own against International defenders with no wingers to give him some ammo.

He's still got the ability to make it in the Premier League but I think a season or two in the Championship will be good for him. Good luck Ched - did make me smile the way that some of these big International defenders seemed to bounce of at times, and nobody can accuse him of not putting a shift in. He's bound to come back and score against us at some point anyway...
 
Sell him.

Lets be honest, he wouldnt have even got a look in last season if it wasnt for the fact that he was Welsh and the rest of our strikers were mostly useless (before Boj returned and Bellamy was bought).

With us in the market for probably 2 strikers he certainly wont get a look in next season, especially when we have Bojinov, Caceido and Bellamy also on the fringes.
 
He's a bit better than people on here are giving him credit for but he isn't gonna make it here and it'll be better for evryone if Ched moves on this summer. I'd like to see us get more than £1.5million though

Uhh... i think we are wearing a stipey jumper and a mask at 1.5mil mate! he's rubbish!
 
The fact that people's only memory of him is slotting away a penner against Midgetland proves how little quality he had.

He's decent yes, but not in the same league as Caicedo, Bojinov or Sturridge, so how's he going to get a game before Tevez or Eto'o?

Shame he never really got a chance in a 4-4-2 as i'm sure he could have shown us a lot more, played really well for Norwich and i think a few years in the Championship will do him good then he could become a good Prem striker
 
There's some wankers on this thread. Just because the lad isn't good enough to break into our first team is no reason to slate him.
