The wide men were the biggest problem today. No end product from Grealish or Savinho. Second half we were really unlucky not to score again but Brentford competed well. ,Akanji, Emerson and (obviously) Haaland excellent, KDB below par, walker awful. 7/10

De Bruyne was fantastic, however he had no one of any intelligence moving around in front of him.

I know this must have been expressed in the thread many times already, but Brentford were great today.

Really enjoyed some of the stuff they played.

Haaland is simply the best striker in the world right now.. Only wish he would score hattricks and braces also against top PL teams.. 3 points are staying home, bring on Champions League..

An odd sort of game where we could have won 5 or 6-1. And yet I wouldn't have been shocked had it finished 2-2 or even worse. Amazing how much better a game is when the opposition actually try to attack, rather than just set up camp on the edge of their own box and hope for the best.

Right now he’s the best I’ve ever seen. He’s like poetry in motion.

After a very dodgy start, we got the job done, though credit to Brentford; they made us work for the three points right until the end. Their goalkeeper was outstanding, and made some very impressive saves.

I didn’t think any of the players was particularly impressive today, but, as a collective, they got the job done.

You didn’t think Haaland was impressive!

I think we would be better leaving him out to be honest as he doesn’t work hard enough :-)
