75% possession means fuck all if you’re passing it square and not getting in behind, we could all see in the ground it needed changing at H/T, we can all accept a defeat but a defeat due to the lack of ideas and not changing things up is unacceptable imo.We had 75% possession - that does not happen if you don't work very hard.

Hope so. We've a pretty tough return :( Leed, Chelsea, rags & Spurs away with Everton & Wolves at home. That's a tough set of away fixtures.I can't wait for the next PL games. I'm sure we will go on some crazy winning streak, and will be fun to see if Pep changes something. This team is made for title races

Don't know haw I'd cope if we went back to being shit I'm still on a foul mood this morning in spite of a great weekend including a trip to the east lancs Derby. When we were shit took defeats in my stride now they feel like the end of the world. Only thing that's cheered me up is that we lost at home to Palace around this time last year and it didn't affect a pretty good season. The worse thing is we've got over a month before we can get back on the horse.

In this game, and last year against palace. Sometimes it happens. The only stat that really matters is winning a lot more than you lose. Our possesion and our work rate mean we do. Just because we lose a game doesn't mean they worked any less.75% possession and got beat. Scoreline only stat that matters.
A few days after the event I'm over it. Shit happens and we move on. Brentford had one of those days when everything went for them and they caught us with a few players not at their best. Sometimes it's not your day and Saturday was one of those.
