Conceding a last minute winner at home is usually sickening but this one was a bit more palatable than most.

They’re a nice little club with decent fans, they take more points than you’d expect off the rags and dippers and they play a nice brand of football. A defeat in November has no real ramifications and, as you say, come May this defeat was an irrelevance so with hindsight, putting a neutral hat on I don’t begrudge them their special moment and the bedlam in their end when the goal went in.

That cup defeat late 80s / early 90s on the other hand has stayed with me to this day. That was sickening.
