I think one of the reasons it didnt work out for Hughes was that his management team were not up to the standard that was needed at City! It worked at Wales and Blackburn but this is a different kettle of fish!
I have heard nothing but complimentary things about the training regime at City under Hughes. I think the tactics on match-day and the inbalance between forwards and defenders is more relevant
