Brighton (A) | Post-Match Thread

Someone tell me that game wasn't rigged, Atwell, Moss and the ' var team' obviously came to an earlier decision to make sure Brighton got every crucial call tonight. They should've been down to ten for that knee high tackle on Gundogan, Bernardo not getting a foul at the end of the first half, we didn't even get to see the replay, then to top it off Llallana doesn't get any of the ball and fouls Jesus in the box, then we're led to believe Moss actually checked it, did he fuck.
Bent as fuck that game, reckon Pep knew it as well

Lol @ pep doing the “didn’t see it” whilst highlighting all the incidents

He’s a clever bloke, even I’ve calmed down now and can’t see how it benefits us or him was he to call out everything that happened tonight.

Pick the title up weekend then go and pick the CL up end of the month, easy

Pep: “all the time when we win things we win it ourselves”

This is what he says when he is saying the officials are against us.
He’s got the measure of the shit media in this country & his comments are clearly a disguised dig at the authorities because despite their best efforts to thwart us - they have FAILED. we DO IT ON OUR OWN

I very much liked the game today. And no i'm not crazy, but this is to turn on the players a bit and not have them relaxed. And it helped as we realised we need to try and be focused all the time or else we can lose.
A nice wake up call! I liked it.
I hope everything is ok with Gundo.

Of course fuck @ff referees and the whole PL system that is against us.

I hope for a
Ederson
Walker Dias Stones Zin
Silva Fernandinho Gundo
Mahrez KDB Foden
60 minutes game in the final PL game in order to get some CL final warmup, and then 5 changes of some midfield players to give them some rest.

I wonder if someone has had a word with Lescott - new pundit contract maybe, he used to say it as it is, tonight he is really following the BT/sly sports narrative. Ah well maybe its just me, I expect him to be calling out the ref/moss but also that we had 10 men and tackles were flying in left right and centre

Judging by the bt commentary its just you mate, as it was a fantastic challenge by that lovable liverpool legend lalana, and of course.....meant more(dubious reffing).
It was made worse by the fact they looked at it but still didn't think it was a pen. Jesus didn't help himself by not making more of it or appealing for it (for a change).

watch the second half again
early on we had a throw in deep into their half
the flag went up straight away as soon as silva got the ball
i couldnt see any contact between silva or the defender so it must have been a foul
maybe i have to watch it again if i can be arsed

Can't catch up on the whole thread but are you talking about the offside given from our throw ?

Play was restarted with a throw to them so presumed it was a foul throw-in from us. Lino seemed to be indicating foot was off the floor.

This game has shown us all what we are going to be up against next season.

We need a top forward to give us the edge. These cunts will do anything to stop us winning again.

The crowd refereed that game not the prick in black.
The trouble with PiGMOL and VAR is that they can manufacture, as they did tonight, a dubious red card leaving yer down to ten for eighty minutes. We've won before with ten, but the mental strength required to make up for the man short AND to accommodate some of the worst reffing AND to avoid some nasty tackles is gonna take a group of highly trained, technically-gifted saints.

At the end of the day all that matters is the Gundogan injury

it was 12 v 9 for 80 minutes

the twelve were well up for it. The 9 just wanted the game over and get on the coach in one piece
