Brighton (A) | Post-Match Thread

Can't fault the players there; even Garcia who ended up playing in a position he wasn't comfortable with.

Gundo scored early, and what transpired was one of the most bent displays of officiating I've seen for a long time.

Our game plan went out of the window after 8 minutes when Cancelo was incorrectly sent off. Meanwhile Brighton were fouling with impunity, whist we were conceding fouls for 50-50's?

The players struggled to keep their cool, but it was hardly surprising given what they were up against. EVERYONE in that ground knew what was going on, which gave Brighton the confidence to attack us, safe in the knowledge that the referee had their back.

Can't wait for Pep's interview.

It’s no consolation but Chelsea had a cast iron penalty turned down. I think they are incompetent. As for tonight we were poor after man sent off. It happens. We’ve won the league and the intensity has gone from our lads. As for Brighton they never really figured in my thoughts and probably won’t work in the future. However for their pettiness and snide fouling at the moment I hope we thrash them in a game that matters.

Garcia MUST NOT be on the plane to Porto. The sooner he is out of the UK the better, absolute, total, complete, utter and useless shite. Barcelona welcome to him.
won the league. Won the League Cup. Now let’s win the UCL and fuck the media right off.
Totally agree he’s an absolute liability. No positional sense, no pace, and not big enough.

Does anyone rate Rodri? He's not fit to lace Fernandinho's boots, and the man is 36 years old for fuck's sake.
He's been brilliant all season. We're on the cusp of a treble and he's played more minutes than any other player, one or two bad games doesn't change his importance all year
