i hope we got everything covered and don't fall for any mind games or tricks that will take place at liverpool ?? their game will defo finish after ours and that's the key just like the city vs united 2012 ?? so lets just win the game and take the impossible out of liverpool hands with any late goals ??? dirty tricks have happened all season and the premier league officials have bent over backwards for liverpool ?? so i don't think it will be a smooth ride this sunday and every dirty trick in the book will be used by liverpool even a later kick off due to something I.E united fake bomb ???????

we must remember we are in control forget all the media hype and bollocks by the scouse scum media and the pressure they have added to this season they can not control the man city game and if we do our job and win liverpool could win 10.0 it makes squally shit

when looking back on this season it will be a puzzle at how well manchester city have done and with it being in our own hands in the last game is just about unbelievable with whats happened at liverpool this season ?? salah diving all season and getting so many soft pens goalkeepers dropping bollocks referees in their back pockets games being moved to help them its Beggar Belief how man city have still just got on with it and in control

"Richard Scudamore" wish his is command and the officials have done their job to the tee ?? never in a million years are liverpool on par with manchester city ?? the city squad is so far better and the first team is better, but the reason is clear what liverpool have over man city the officials

I’m ok with Fern being out, Gundo has been brilliant for months. Could do with Kev being back though, we miss his creativity.

Think we miss out on a bit of athleticism when both Fern and KDB are missing in some games.

Foden was excellent against Spurs with KDB alongside him, but him and David together wasn’t quite so effective particularly at the press.

If neither is back I’d have Bernardo in there for a legendary performance as per the Dippers game. Jesus might deserve the start ahead of Sane.

Too much shitting the bed because the dippers won a CL game, our lads are not bothered by that, they are focussed on the title,it might be a grind but who cares so long as we win

Well said. Our boys have never been more determined. I have every confidence in Pep and the team to win on Sunday!

This year we have it in our hands to win the domestic treble, the first team to do this, that would be two season on the trot where we will have broken records and set records. If the dippers, or better still the spuds win the CL, then so what, the more the merrier. You can be certain of one thing Pep will looking at how he can win the lot next season.

I have to say I do rather admire the way you just snuck it in there.

Subtlety is key. Anything obvious and people see you coming a mile off. No fun if they don't have to read it a second time and question themselves.

Makes me think of a man with half a kilo of illegal substance in his suitcase just oh-so-casually walking through customs at Gatwick…

Gatwick? not me. I much prefer Luton... ;)

Interesting article on referee bias at: https://footballisfixed.blogspot.com/2019/04/lizards-lacertae-liverpool-thread.html?m=1
It mentions
"...Without referee bias, City would have sealed the title at Old Trafford.."

"...Massive insider positions exist on Liverpool stealing the league..." "A lot rides on their (Oliver and Tierney's) 'performance'

"...Michael Oliver has the most explaining to do as his input is biased to statistically significant levels across the systemic corruptions outlined above..."

Also says Brighton game results are pre-ordained. Weren't these guys saying the same thing about Leicester on Mon?

It's started.

Duffy is already saying they will put in an effort and try and win the game.

They are safe, are relaxed, and will give it their all.

I'm forever a pessimist but people need to calm down and not lose their marbles after Liverpool fluke a CL win. As a reminder we are in full control of our destiny. If the team shows up against a poor team I have no doubt we will bring the trophy home. It will be far from easy as Brighton will bring their shiny bus to help Liverpool. Whether Liverpool's luck will invade our game is another matter.

There is a stark difference between trying to win the game and trying the to win Liverpool the league. Former is actively playing football for the entertainment of the game, while the latter is parking a bus to prevent us from winning.

I know a lot of blues with tickets for the home areas of the ground and reckon there will be tickets being touted by Brighton fans outside before the game on Sunday - but they won’t be cheap of course

They will be turfed out 100% , i'd be very suprised if any Brighton season ticket holders sell on their tickets to City fans as Brighton are absolutely on it , by that i mean if the person named for that seat isn't sat in that seat and caught they lose there season ticket no refunds , banned from the ground for a period of time and all loyalty points are lost , it's simply not worth it , there maybe a few non season ticket holders willing to risk it but these people all have a purchase history account and will be banned as well , of course all this depends on wether the home fans suss out you're a city fan before they turn nasty and bubble up to the stewards or worse it kicks off , which it has done in the past hence the heavy penalties for home fans selling there tickets on , if any City fans are lucky enough to bag a ticket in the home end i'd suggest trying to keep a lid on it for as long as you can and no way should you consider wearing colours because that will end in tears for sure .
