Well played Brighton but we got the three points because the quality up top! Brighton play like that at all the big teams away from home they going to take points like they already did against Liverpool wonder why they so poor against the midtable teams

A couple of world class moments aside.....pretty poor overall,a better team would have took advantage.

We are lacking that spark....the cohesion and fluidity we are renowned for.A couple of square pegs,and continued rotation,isn't helping obviously.

We need Walker back or at least start trusting one of our kids.

Caught a bit of them at half time whinging about the penalty. You can bet their biased opinions would have entirely different if one of the red shirts had got the penalty!

Mahrez should not start games, his miss at 2-0 was atrocious. That could have cost us.

My granddaughter said we were excellent!!

We certainly weren't excellent. Passing was well off 2nd half (particularly) and as a result we kept giving the ball away. If Mahrez had scored his chance when we were 2-0 up, I suspect it would have been a much less nervy 2nd half. Not awful but definitely not excellent.

I don’t know about atrocious he hit it clean but if he lifted it he would scored

For long parts of that game they played more like "City" than us!

Was a good save to be honest. He hit it well enough and the placement was ok but the keeper knew what he was going to do and make the save. If Mahrez hadn't hit it as well, it would have probably gone through the keeper's legs.

Final Score said we were brilliant today - I'll have to wait until MOTD to see if they got it wrong and we were as shit as the Matchday thread said!

We are usually better than the matchday thread makes us out to be in hindsight, but that 2nd half was really turgid. Brighton were good though

Lethargic, flat and sloppy. Brighton the better side but lacking the quality shown by City.
Big improvement wide and in midfield when Foden replaced Mahrez.
