Brighton & Hove Albion (A) | Post Match Thread

Yes it must be good news for both Foden and Stones. Just some 2-3-4 days and they will be 100 % fine.

But what about Dias, Akanji and Laporte that Rodri said we didn't have more options at center backs? Are they injured more than simple niggles?
But they finished Real M. game normally and they didn't play against Chelsea(except for Akanji but he didn't seem to get off injured). So when did they got the injury?

I hope these will be cleared soon in an interview and all to be ok.
Hung over more the point I am sure they will be fine and some might even start on Sunday.

Most I guess will focus on the disallowed Haaland goal (fair enough it was soft), but I thought Brighton were excellent. Pressed well, passed well. Took their goal really well.....look at the City fans behind the goal applauding it as it goes in. I can't deny a side that actually has a go and doesn't park a bus. We were a bit 'after-the-lord-mayors-show' and disjointed, just hoping we don't have any injuries. Good entertaining game tbh. Pretty glad we'd already got the league sewn up as well.

Not sure about resting players, isn't it better that they're in a rhythm so ready to go in the final?
It's more about managing the players, not so much resting any. HOWEVER, I'm a bit miffed that our squad couldn't wait two weeks to have a title piss up!

What is it with English football & fuckin booze? They're highly paid professionals, but our season is far from over so why the fuck they can't wait until the 11th of June to either have their piss up or drown their sorrows is beyond me!

Surely remaining professional & focused for another 20 days isn't beyond our club? :-/

Agreed......but Brighton are a great team and even at full strength that game would have been close.....
Bit light upfront for me. Nice football but little end result. Hence the reason why the rags beat them in the semi final. They are a much better footballing side than them.

I personally think Laporte and obviously Ake are carrying knocks. With that in mind, Pep probably felt like he couldn't lose anyone else at the back, so left them at home. I really don't think there is anything to worry about re Grealish, Dias and Akanji.
