Hooper was terrible with the whistle. I will agree the pull by Haaland can be seen as gaining an advantage but a similar pull on Bernado in the box not given. How strong does the pull have to be for it to count.
Also when we were attacking, one of the Brighton players goes down in a challenge with Alvarez, Hooper blows for a drop ball after we had gone 2-3 passes and gives it us in a defensive set up, no advantage at all to us at all. Brighton built up a couple of attacks in that moment.
Incompetent at best.

Hooper didn't give either. VAR couldn't review the foul on Bernardo as it was outside the box.

It's only the Europa League and they will.lose a lot of players anyway.

I remember that move. It would never have happened with Rodri holding. That was the weakness in our system last night and it enabled them to play through us like that.

I agree from that perspective. We handled them both at the Etihad, 3-1 B&HA, 2-0 NC. Away at NC was an even better game than yesterday. We came back to draw 3-3 from 3-1 down when they were giving us an unbelievably difficult time.
Also, NC and Brighton played to a nil-nil at Brighton whereas the barcodes thrashed Brighton 4-1 just a week ago today at St. James' Park...

For me there's no way Foden doesn't start the Cup finals on the right of Haaland. I would rather choose from one of Gundo or Bernardo to start in the midfield than leave the Prince of Manchester out. A fit and firing Foden makes our first 11 regardless of whatever anyone else is doing or not doing. JMO and a very strong one at that!

Not football wise of course. Just think some are underestimating this game. They will have the officials on side and will be throwing themselves around no doubt and in the referee’s face all game.
