How is that connected to a hereditary heart condition?
It's a coincidence or it might be not connected at all but i know one footballer in middle east i believe and a crickter in Pakistan has died of on field heart attacks, then we had aguero n eriksen episodes and now this, may be it has nothing to do with covid but it still seems strange at how such incidents have increased in post covid world

Yeah, the word hereditary kinda dispels your argument.

Have they increased post COVID? The stats don't seem to back that up

It'd be interesting to see how someone like Trossard would do under Pep's tutelage. He's a decent player. Not saying we should buy him, so no pile on, thanks. He's 28 in a couple of months, which doesn't fit in with the age profile of players we generally go in for. Isn't Gundogan the oldest we signed under Pep, and he was 26, I think.

Trossard would have been a perfect fit for me, the effort that lad puts in is astounding.

The amount of young men having heart related issues post covid is incredible, this is really sad but life is more important than football, i wish him the best and hopefully he would stay connected to the game in some way
Going off your username I guess English may not be your first language but 'hereditary' means an illness or trait that's passed down genetically from your parents, it isn't something that can be 'caught' like a virus or infection.

Seriously? that's an absurd conclusion to make but whatever

Devastating for him, his career had barely started and he looked like another very tidy player on the up. Big loss for Brighton, they only bought him last year, I have zero medical knowledge but these checks should be part of the rigorous medical by now shouldn't they?

Yeah, the word hereditary kinda dispels your argument.
There is no argument here, just an observation which one is allowed to make and one is allowed to disagree with, not looking for arguments or debates here and in case you're wondering, i am well aware of what hereditary means i was just surprised by how these heart related issues seemed to have increased in sportsmen, we also had an active test cricketer, part of playing 11 who had to stop playing cricket because of heart condition last year and i don't think I've said Mwepu his condition was due to covid, it was a gernal observation which you can disagree with
