Totally agree. Every effort on our goal seems to be one on one with Bravo because he has NO defence (or midfield) in front of him.

Bring him back by all means but only if he's had a successful head transplant.

Because Joe's issue compared to others is rapid analysis and speedy decision making when he has the ball. It's beyond him. But this sense of uninterrupted flow as the ball cycles in and amongst the back line is critical for Pep's style of play.

It also will not help if he is perceived by some as being a tad toxic, based on what when on in the Mancini days.

Whilst he's a better shot-stopper, traditional goalie and strong character on the pitch than anything we have currently - all the songs in the world will not change the situation.

......because the problems lies firmly with the non existent defence. Kolorov is poor but it's the whole defensive unit that can't cope with high balls or pace.

The funny thing is, I'm pretty sure that when Pellegrini came in & changed the defensive setup, Joe Hart was one of the people getting the most blame for it not working, due to rash challenges, not saving stuff etc.

MY stance was ever thus, fullbacks were a much bigger problem area than GK. A stance which certainly looks justified right now.

I felt the whole Hart thing was handled badly - if Pep knew from day one that he 'couldn't' adjust to his way of playing, why not give the lad more time to find a club than the last week of the window? If he didn't know straight away, why not give him more than one game to prove he could do things the Pep way?
