Completely disagree here. Whilst I appreciate and very much sympathise that £45 may be a stretch for some fans in today's world I don't think it is out of line with any other PL club. You have to appreciate that the club has to stay in line with FFP guidelines (at least while they exist) and also operate as a successful business. We can't expect to be a top team with top players and yet expect the club to provide reduced ticket prices (especially when we are top of the league and current Champions). I think our owners have done way more than many other owners in terms of trying to engage and understand the fanbase, they have also always tried to keep ticket prices on the reasonable side compared to most if not all other top 6 clubs. The other issue is that many fans (who do have the money) are just happy to watch on TV rather than go out for midweek games against mid/low positioned teams.Maybe the penny will drop one day.
After fans have just paid £100's during April alone including both Madrid games at home (with some fans doing Wembley and Madrid away also) they think it's acceptable to be charging on average £45 for Brighton at home.
When they see empty seats in abundance tonight maybe they will realise (probably not lol)
Can't believe how out of touch they really are at the minute with fans - it's getting worse with each passing season.
