Bring the Noise

Be nervy night and if we don’t score early be a quiet crowd!

Thing is the players know what they have to do to win the title win every game.

Completely disagree here. Whilst I appreciate and very much sympathise that £45 may be a stretch for some fans in today's world I don't think it is out of line with any other PL club. You have to appreciate that the club has to stay in line with FFP guidelines (at least while they exist) and also operate as a successful business. We can't expect to be a top team with top players and yet expect the club to provide reduced ticket prices (especially when we are top of the league and current Champions). I think our owners have done way more than many other owners in terms of trying to engage and understand the fanbase, they have also always tried to keep ticket prices on the reasonable side compared to most if not all other top 6 clubs. The other issue is that many fans (who do have the money) are just happy to watch on TV rather than go out for midweek games against mid/low positioned teams.
Some good points but just as a comparison and I'm not saying they're always cheaper, Liverpool's cheapest adult ticket (apart from those limited number £9 ones they make available to fans with 'L' postcodes) for last night's game against United was £37. Our cheapest adult ticket against United was £63. The club tend to have great pricing for FA Cup games but £40-odd for a rearranged midweek game against Brighton is out of touch.
