It amazes me that this sort of thing can happen. It almost makes you think that being sectioned would be better, because then at least it would be professional doctors in control rather than some controlling, abusive family member.He had full control of her personal life and argued it was better for her mental health to not have more children ,she could have been sectioned if she didnt agree , she was fitted with a coil, he had totally control over her life , i would say he was happy to make her work and do do tours so a baby would get in the way , it is a horrifing situation she was in , the legal documents and details were appalling
I recently read about the Kennedy's sister who was lobotomized simply because she was difficult to deal with. I wonder if women are more likely than men to be under these sorts of arrangements. I saw a disabled campaigner talking about it on the news, and so I imagine disabled people are also likely to find themselves in this situation.
