I presume its because he knows its pretty pointless and meaningless anyway. Most immigration currently comes from within the EU and the Conservatives can't cap that even if they want to.

Depends at what level it's set though, Cameron didn't give a figure did he?

No he didn't but that was probably because he knew it was a bit of an empty promise too. The immigration that worries people is large numbers from eastern Europe and illegals and a cap isn't going to have any effect on that.

If I posted that you were a pedophile I am sure you would not like it (though it is not true and you are not a pedophile).

It did not hit a nerve, it was just a untruth and as such, I felt it wrong to stay on the forum. You big pedo you.
mods can act on this quote please

Why? Has it hit a nerve?

Have you got my point now?

Atleast I stated that you weren't. You were intent on lying to people saying I was a loan shark even though you knew it was not true.

I like them. They are interesting.
Yes very interesting but never had you down as a plane spotter. Unfortunately Avro failed to anticipate the jet age when it tried to introduce the Tudor turbo-prop. Sadly the crash of the MkII prototype that killed Roy Chadwick and others was a blow from which they struggled to recover. It's difficult to understand that decision from the same aircraft manufacturer that conceived and built the futuristic and advanced piece of engineering that was the Vulcan.

Thomas Cromwell would have survived. I know this because I have read Wolf Hall.

;) you know that wont ever happen.

Seriously here, I can't even recall the big point you were originally trying to make.

If it had been anything remotely interesting then I would remember it. I am quite good at stuff like that.

Pet. ;-)

I think I was saying women should have the vote though I can't remember the reason now....

I voted. One of your previous posts pointed out that I should, and I took your advice.

Thanks xx

Listened to a couple of interesting podcasts from the BBC History magazine the other day. One was about discovering the exact site of the Battle of Bosworth and the other was about Charles II and the restoration of the monarchy.

As for Wolf Hall, I prefer to read his brother, F.Hall
