You have to remember that most on here hate Labour for leading us to war, the same people hate the taliban and also seem oblivious to the fact that we were at war with Iraq 6 years before New Labour were even invented.

Eh? I don't actually hate anyone, what I want is what is best for the country as a whole, now you may think that bankrupting the country is OK, but I beg to differ, you may also like the draconian powers that the current Labour government has passed, I prefer my civil liberties.

You may think that it's OK taxing the ordinary working man to the hilt, again I think it's wrong. I want buisiness to be free from the dead hand of government.

I want to be able to vote on electoral reform, but I guess you think it's OK to force it on the people, I want the party who won most votes and most seats to form the government, now I guess what the majority have voted for does not matter to you, as long as you get what you want, and they said the Tories are selfish!

I want what is best for humanity. That's all. I'm not selfish. You make some valid points but we'll see how the country looks in 5 years time under a Tory government. The tories won't address any of the issues you or Cheesy mentioned. The rich will get richer and the poor will get poorer. There will be civil unrest, hopefully riots, deaths, casualties and mass unemployment before we go back to Labour who spend 4 years cleaning up the mess.

I'm happy to agree to disagree.

-- Mon May 10, 2010 11:01 pm --

Are you one of the people that think giving billions of taxpayers money to the bankers, who then gave themselves big bonuses, equates to being a Socialist voter?

No, I've got the heart and roots of a socialist, but there is no left wing party to vote for. If I voted, being true to myself, I'd vote for the Green Party. As I feel disenfranchised I just vote against the tories. Might sound simplistic, but it allows me to sleep soundly.

Spot on.

There is no longer a left wing option which frankly renders 'democracy' as little more than an empty lie.

Karma however can be a woman and there are lots of little piggies out there that need a damn good whacking. It's happened before, it could happen again.

Re: Brown to stand down

seen some of the extreme right wing shit being touted as cabinet ministers?

be ready with your molotovs comrades

Let Gordon throw the first one ,his rehabilitation will then be complete

You're a rag. So you can get fucked. Didn't see you posting anything smug about how happy you were for Chelsea yesterday? Wonder why.

Oh and as far as I'm aware, making a prediction of a troubled future society is not a bannable offence. Maybe I'd make a good 2 page spread in the Mail or something but aside from that you're pissing on your own raggy shoes.

SMB.

I'm with you brother. Let's go Greek and smash the place up and get some of Eastern Europeans from Rochdale to fix broken Britain. Then we can carry on with our perpetual war against the public... err I mean terrorism.

I'm all for mass riots against the oppressors but I've long held the notion that at some point I'm going to think I'm Charles Manson/Jesus so I could chip in with some piggy killing if need be.
