I’m guessing Txiki offers 80 banking on that Newcastle needs money

Plan B: might be that guy in Spain that was mentioned on here a few weeks ago.

Guess we’ll see in the end what happens to Newcastle, hard to tell what exactly their financial position is until their accounts are done whenever that is, same with Chelsea Everton and Villa.Don’t think it involves us and Guimaraes anymore anyway so not really our problem now.

Zubimendi. Sergio Gomez fancies a move to Sociedad, and they can't afford him. We could get him for about 25m quid + Gomez. Not sure Zubimendi would want to leave, though.

Thing is if we wanted to pay 80 mill for him we could have put that bid in weeks ago, they may have waited tor his clause to expire to see if anyone triggered, but if they needed to sell they could have come to us sooner than the day before and offered him to us ,or anyone. The fact they haven’t means either they aren’t wanting to sell him or we were never interested in the first place with any kind of bid.
 
It is now or never. If it doesn't happen before the end of this month I doubt it will happen, as it won't make any difference for Newcastle. Would prefer him over Kimmich.

When you see these deals you get suspicious now because of the way the media talks about other deals! Is 33m a lot for a 19 year who has done nought? I've not heard of him before! Are Saudi going to give Brighton a nice big sponsor?!
 
Wonder if the PL will be expressing their concerns about some of the fees being paid for the relatively unproven and unknown players being sold for seemingly high, and possibly inflated amounts, by clubs attempting to get round their sustainability rules ?

Probably not as the clubs involved don't really threaten the future success of the redshirt/spurs alliance.

He would be stupid not to want to leave. Not sure he is good enough though.

just had a cracking loan at PSV tbf, still slightly high i reckon but nothing stupid
