Bruno Peres

This is just getting ridiculous, dont care what anyone says, just pay the 20million and get it done with before other clubs come in.

I know we waste money all over the place but think of the 2m as being a fiver on cup tickets.

I'd just pay the fee as well mate.

The wage offer suggests to me that he isn't necessarily seen as a first-choice RB.

The italians report everything post tax, so that £33k p/w is probably more like £70,000 p/w in our terms.

Which would put him around the squad members.

Also - wages don't mean anything when it comes to starting or not, just represents our strong bargaining position.

We're giving this guy Champions League football, the best coach in the world and Premier League exposure - which means a chance at the Brazil team.

Oh and he'll still probably be getting 3x his current salary.

Lets see his agent turn down that offer for more money.

The agent will be getting his fee he'll bully his client into accepting!

I guess it will depend how Pep sets us up - if as we suspect the full backs will be our wide option in some games - we will need specialist wing backs as per Perez. In other games we maybe more conventional and need full backs who are stronger defensively - in which case you are correct we will see a strong replacement for Sagna who can cover all full back options Pep may want to deploy.

Yes it will depend on how Pep wants to set up. Lahm at Bayern tucked in more where Alves went forward a bit more. Looking at Peres though if not wingback, I wouldn't count out him being an actual winger if we set up like Bayern did. Looking at him he has more qualities of a Douglas Costa than a natural fullback. The wingers at Bayern were more like wingbacks even though more in an advanced roll. They had to sprint back when the ball was lost, because the actual fullbacks were trying to win the ball in the midfield.
