Re: Bruno Zuculini

Have been impressed with him so far, gets around the pitch well and seems to pop up in attacking areas without even realizing it. Was led to believe he was more of a holder in midfield but then I read that Racing are pretty poor at the moment so he had been doing that job and curbing his attacking runs for the good of the team.

With Fernando here he knows he can go forward.

Decent pass, knack of getting in the box, good touch and general awareness. For 1.5m, if he doesn't make it here I think he will go on to be a success in Europe and will be banking us a nice little profit.

Re: Bruno Zuculini

Happy for him to take garcia's place now, the club should knock any idea of sending him out on loan and utilise him, looks sharp and promising

Re: Bruno Zuculini

I still think Bruno will go out on loan but I have questioned in my mind whether Pellegrini is thinking about putting him in our squad this season as he has impressed in pre-season.

Marca: City will wait until the end of the US tour before deciding where Zuculini plays next season, with Valencia pressing for a loan deal.

I guess it depends on who else we can offload and what the rest of our squad looks like. I doubt we will be able to get much for Rodwell so maybe we allow him a place in the squad because he is English. Zuculini would be much better off playing regularly elsewhere and whilst he looks a cracking player, he isn't going to get much game time with the likes of Fernandinho and Yaya ahead of him. I would keep Rodwell, who injury permitting will at least then market himself to potential suitors and meanwhile we have given Zuculini another season to develop his game.

Re: Bruno Zuculini

If Pellegrini is thinking about him staying, we would need a work permit. That would be hard to get. Plus he would take up another foreign slot.

I think he would really have to impress for the remainder of the preseason to even have the possibility.

He's got an Italian passport. No WP required.

Re: Bruno Zuculini

I would like to see him given game time. If it's anything like last year, 70+ games is too many for only three central midfielders to play.

Re: Bruno Zuculini

Send him out on loan might be more space next year. MDM will be out of contract and I have no doubt decisions will be made re Nastisic. For me Garcia has to be one to make way for Mangala this year.
