If Zuculini gets out on a loan this season, I'll prefer him over Javi Garcia next season, he seems like a great player, who will adapt to our team very fast.

I get your point to an extent but we didn't even play 60 games last season

Garcia has to go, there is no other option with Mangala signing. He's the only non-homegrown we can really sacrifice (keeping in mind Nasta doesn't count) to fit Mangala into the quota.

So the question is 4th choice: Rodwell or Zuculini............. or Milner as part of a charm offensive to make him renew.

Zuculini CAN take the role without taking a precious non-homegrown spot for one season, having turned 21 after January 1st, just like Nastasic.

Rodwell is definitely on the market we're led to believe, Valencia are waiting for Pellegrini's OK to loan Zuculini but no decision will be made before the end of the US tour, which is interesting. So who takes the #4 CM role is going to remain a question for a while.

no point to send him out on loan. let him stay with the 1st team, and use him as a rotation player. we only need to offload Garcia. Zuculini, Huws & Rodwell (give him one last chance to prove himself) is enough to cover for Yaya, Fernando & Fernandinho. not to forget that Demichelis can play as a DM too.

i just knew that recently Huws was sent on loan to Wigan. so then no need to sell Garcia.

New City video today he said he picked up an ankle injury and he's in a bit of pain, was this during the Milan game?

Zuculini would have to take a foreign player spot in the CL, however.

What about Lampard on Loan until Jan, at which point we'll have Emyr Huws back.
Then we'd have Lampard for the first half of the League season and the CL group stage, and then have Huws from then on.

Alternatively, we could just keep Rodwell.

Then to stay and play in prem league means he requires a foreigners spot. Bleedin hell no wonder other clubs are taking the piss on transfer fees and loans.

no he dont require a foreign spot in PL. in CL yes
