BT Sport about to snatch the CL off Sky/ITV?

Are Sky going to be toeing the party line now how the Champion's League is a overrated pile of wank?

BT are here to stay. They have a good variety of different football leagues and sport, I for one have got fed up of Sky's stale coverage. They need to invest in other leagues such as the Bundesliga. They haven't shown a new foreign league just the same ones, PL, La Liga, Scottish league..

Competition is good for the consumer - and that's us normal football fans.

How? When you have to pay for a platform (Sky or Virgin) and then on top, pay for the multiple sources of football? (Sky Sports, now BT as well)?????

We end up paying more and more, same way as tickets are going.

It's because there is a demand for it that they can ask for more money though, if everyone stopped paying they would eventually have to bring the prices down.

I know it's hard when you support your football club, but the bubble has to burst eventually and it's about surviving these days when you have families and such there's more important things then football.

Sky charge a price for Sky Sports One and then extra for their other Sports channels whereas BT at the moment is one price for BT Sports 1 & 2 plus ESPN - hope it stays that way and BT don't do what Sky are doing now.

BT Sports need more sexy females.

I heard BT will be streaming match choice over the internet (probably if you get there broadband), unlike using the red button like Sky do.

And then they always show the same teams.

In Scotland, it's always Celtic, and in Spain, it always either Real Madrid or Barcelona!

And in England it's the RAGs

Sky are good if you support a big club but not the ones lower down in the league.

I have BT Sport, and Sky Sports. I won't pay for CL though as it doesn't float my boat. In fact, I can't remember the last game I watched.

I reckon over the course of a season - taking city out of it - there are more CL attractive fixtures than prem league now. It's also easier family wise to sit down & watch evening midweek games for me than daytime weekend games, so BT will get a yes from me (assuming we are in the CL!)
