No, what actually happened is that the Budget contained a policy change which at best is ill thought through and ultimately counterproductive, and more likely vindictive and politically motivated.Farming is being used like fishing was by the Reform lot - it will be dropped once it has served a purpose for them indeed I am sure Tice and Lowe are already casting an eye around suitable acquisitions at knock down prices as presumably there is a massive rush to sell farms before the changes come in ..............
Just like the NIC hike on GP surgeries and care homes, the government will end up reversing it at some point, but only belatedly, after they initially defend the move and receive a load of criticism for doing it in the first place.
Meanwhile in your incongruous but obvious desperation to defend the move, you’ve ended up posting something which actually proves you wrong.
