If Dortmund doesn't win their next two matches against Freiburg (home) and Stuttgart (away), Bayern could be Champions in March if they win against Leverkusen (away) and Hamburg (home).

Perfect situation as it would allow complete concentration on CL.
But there are also some records to achieve.
Bayern are now on 66 points. The record is 81 points (Dortmund 2011/12). Bayern could get 93 points (out of 102 points).

Yes. If they win next week in Leverkusen they could still make it on Easter Saturday.

Leverkusen does not matter than anymore and if Dortmund draws in Stuttgart at 15:30 - Bayern could bag it in in their 18:30 match at home against Hamburg.

Since Labbadia (who is an Ex-Bayern-player) is coach in Stuttgart Dortmund has problems to win against them.

-------------

Huntelaar will probably miss all CL-matches of Schalke this and the next month. And Hummels is told to be out of the game for at least the next four weeks.

Who will partner Mertesacker in the national team against Khazakhstan - Höwedes or Boateng?

With the league over, Dortmund wont miss Hummels much in those games, but I feel he will be a big miss if they get a hard champions league draw. Santanna (sp) always looks like he has a mistake in him and does not bring as much going forward as Hummels. It could cost them in the Champions League.

Huntelaar has been poor every time I have seen him this season, so I am not sure he will be a huge miss for them. Drazzler has really impressed me. A much better prospect that Holtby. Out of all the German youngsters I think he would be the most realistic for a top English team to go for.

the problem is: Huntelaar was the only Schalke striker left.

If S04 qualifies for the CL and isn´t in need for money, i can´t see the club selling Draxler in the near future. He and Höwedes are planned to be the future faces of Schalke. With Kolasinac (19), Matip (21), Meyer (17), Papadopolous (21) and having the best U19 team in germany and a very strong U 17 team the club is currently rebuilding the team with young players.

It seems like they did miss his experience. Shame Schalke went out they could do with the money, but from what I gather perhaps they were too inexperienced to beat a well seasoned Galatasary team. Had their chances, but just did not take them. Hopefully they progress well. I think the German team need a strong 3rd and 4th placed teams to challenge Bayern and Dortmund. The drop off in quality and experience is between the top two and the other European places is bigger in Germany than the other top leagues.

Are players like Hoger no good?

Most realistic target? Well, I can guarantee you, that Draxler is unsellable and that there is no chance to get him within the next years.

Okay fair enough, but would Schalke really turn down a 25 million bid? I thought there was more chance of getting him than obviously Muller, Kroos, Badstuber, Reus, Gotze, Hummels, Schurrle or Gundogan.

Of course they would turn it down. The only player you probably could get is Schürrle, but the rest wont move clubs next summer. Chelsea tried last season to get him, but Leverkusen denied that move..Schürrle was obviously interested. Problem is still the same, he has long contract 2016 and Leverkusen is never in need of money and now they will probably qualify for CL next season.

It just shows that you cannot go to Germany and buy their best players, even if you are Real, Barca, City or United. The clubs are all financially healthy and dont sell their identification figures. Bayern and Dortmund dont need money at all..Leverkusen and Wolfsburg same due to Bayer and VW..Schalke could always use some extra money, but they never sell their local stars and are very strict and stubborn (their supporters would riot)..the other clubs will probably sell their best players, when the price is right.

Fair enough and I think is a good thing. I like the fact that parity is being established across European football. The gaps in quality in the leagues have been greatly reduced in the last couple of years. Whether it is by Italy and Germany producing a lot of very talented home grown players of PSG funded by a billionaire owner.
