Braunschweig 1-0 winners at Bochum today, Elabdellaoui setting up the winning goal. They're 14 points clear, of 3rd placed Kaiserlautern, although they have a game in hand. Looking good to getting promoted.

2 goals and 1 assist for Sahin as Dortmund are 5-1 up against Freiburg. May not be Dortmund's best season (though they're doing so well in Europe) but I rate Klopp so highly, he builds a system and slots in the right components. Imagine he had money like Bayern to spend on greater squad depth. Just look at Sahin in Spain and England, a big failure, yet Klopp can make him top class in his system.

I noticed that about how Shinji is not the same player but we'll see next season ...

Yes - but that means the other way around, too. Just because a player is very good in that system does not mean that he is individually a great player. But never tell that to Dortmund fans... ;)

And I guess it might work just with young and eager players or players that are no "stars". Klopp is a great motivator and "team" is still first at Dortmund. It just can work if one works hard for the other. That gets more difficult when you have "stars" that are used to get pampered everywhere else and live of their better individual class...

-----------

Somehow I would not surprised that not only Hermann (the Co-coach of Bayern Heynckes brought from Leverkusen) will return to Leverkusen - but Heynckes will be the headcoach of Leverkusen again next year. Seems like the partnership between Lewandowski and Hyppiä will break and as Hyppiä does not have a coaching license it could be.

well, Bayern will win the title and BVB qualify for the CL. Bayer is a little bit struggling at the moment, but i believe, they will also make it. So it will be all about the 4th CL and the two EL teams. It is a race of snails, with Frankfurt, Schalke and Hamburg losing this weekend.
At the bottom it is a battle of two for the play-offs. Augsburg is still in the pole position ahead of Hoffenheim.

1 Bayern München 69 69:11
2 Bor.Dortmund 49 60:31
3 Bay.Leverkusen 45 46:34

4 Etr.Frankfurt 39 39:37

5 FC Schalke 04 39 43:43
6 FSV Mainz 05 38 33:29

7 Bor.M'gladbach 38 35:35
8 Hamburger SV 38 30:34
9 SC Freiburg 36 33:33
10 Hannover 96 34 47:46
11 1.FC Nürnberg 34 29:32
12 VfB Stuttgart 32 28:44
13 VfL Wolfsburg 31 30:40
14 Werder Bremen 30 42:51
15 Fort.Düsseldorf 29 32:36

16 FC Augsburg 24 23:38

17 TSG Hoffenheim 20 30:49
18 Greuther Fürth 15 16:42

In Bundesliga 2 Hertha BSC and Eintracht Braunschweig are on their way to the promotion. Kaiserslautern and Köln going head to head for the relegation-promotion play-off

1 Hertha BSC 56 49:21
2 Eintracht Braunschweig 55 42:21

3 1. FC Kaiserslautern 44 37:23

4 1.FC Köln 40 31:23 (one game less)

I do not think it is a battle of two. I just looks like Augsburg will even get others into the battle for the relegation battle seat - clubs like Bremen or Düsseldorf.

Augsburg is third in the table that counts only the matches after the Rückrunde behind Bayern and Dortmund. 15 points of their 24 they made after the winter break...
