Interesting how Gomez actually managed to hit the target so many times in order to score a hat-trick lol. It's funny how much Bayern are dominating in Germany this year, poor team that will face them in the final. Double is pretty much nailed on in my opinion.

Actually they did not really dominate the first half so much or played well - but they took their chances when Wolfsburg made mistakes.

The thing is that Gomez is really great in special situations - and yes, then you do not have any forward that is as good and clinical than he is. Actually - when it means offensive action - the Barca match could actually be a match for him. He is a great for counter attacking.

I really wonder why so many teams seem to travel to Munich and completely bend over.

Hamburg, Nürnberg and now Wolfsburg as well.

I havent seen the matches live (other than the Wolfsburg game), but it feels like they are just sitting back, trying to defend at all cost.

Bayern is good, but I feel a lot of teams just show up with the wrong tactics and allow Bayern to play to their best.

Seeing Frankfurt play Bayern (can only comment on Frankfurt, as I have seen both matches) and then see Wolfsburg play them was like day and night. And all that with Wolfsburg having a much more potential than Frankfurt.

Talk about a rabbit staring at a snake...

They played well first half, it was only after the third goal that they fell apart. Gomez scoring 3 in 6 minutes didn't help them either.

Wolfsburg really put some pressure on Bayern's defense. They fell apart after the 4-1 but overall the score line is way to high. The game wasn't as one sided as the the result looks for the first 70minutes.

Bayern won yesterday with great efficient counter attacking football not with the usual possession game. Thought it was really interesting, maybe a test run for the games vs Barca, they invited Wolfsburg to go forward and punished them on the counter. I don't really like it though, I think they should play to their strength against Barca and not try to copy Mourinho's way.

Apparently André Schürrle is close to joining Chelsea for around £20 million. How do people who watch the Bundesliga regularly rate him?

I think he's somewhat overrated and benefits from the hype around the truely great talents in germany. He's not on the same level as Reus or Müller and nowhere near the talent Götze or Draxler are. I think de Bruyne is individually having a better season and it would be madness if Chelsea buy Schürrle and let de Bruyne go. He's of course a very good player but nothing special, probably comparable to Podolski.

German star players category 1: Reus; Müller, Götze, Gündogan, Hummels
German star players category 2: Schürrle

German talents category 1: Draxler, Ter Steegen
German talents category 2: Holtby

German star players around 2008: Podolski, Mertesacker

I think, i´m starting to rate english clubs on whom they sign on the german market. Well let´s see, where is Arsenal, where is Tottenham, where is Chelsea...:)

Wolfsburg was very good organised - they have already been at the last match against Bayern. That is Hecking's (their coach's) working. You could expect that. With Ribery missing Bayern tried to build up the play on the right side - but that did not function - and the work off the ball was not very good in the first half.

The goals happened on mistakes of Wolfsburg and were not made out of open play from Bayern. They forget to give Shaqiri the same coverage they gave the other offensive players and Schweinsteiger... He won the first ball after a long ball on Müller - and caught a stray pass of one of the Wolfsburg players.

But the match showed one thing. Bayern can break pretty fast and effective. I do not think that the Barca match will be one in which Bayern is making the game...
